European School has been awarded with the license to hold a TEDx youth event. The TEDx conference which consists of two pre-recorded talks and nine short presentations by inspiring young people with something new to say will be held on 24th of May in the Main Hall of the European School at 15:00.
Grade 5 are selling lovely food during the day on Thursday 23rd May.

All profits will go to the Rural Child Education Development Programme helping young people have schools and 21st century lessons globally.

On 14th -15th of May European School celebrates Europe Day.
The conference "It's About Europe, It's About You", photo exhibition and exhibition of paintings on the theme "Georgia- European Country" and several presentations about the European countries will be arranged at the International Section of the European School.

On 15th of March students of the European School will organize a campaign to prevent an addiction to nicotine in early age.
The slogan of the campaign - “My Friend Doesn't Smoke!”
The goal of the campaign - to develop a common idea about danger of using nicotine and alcohol at young age.
On 6th of March at the European School the concert dedicated to Mother’s Day will be held in the Main Hall at 15:30. All the participants are our musically talented students. The comperes are the head of the Students’ Parliament Salome Khvistani and the vice-head Irakli Kikoria.

As we informed you, 12 students from the European School participated in the Youth Assembly at the UN in New York from 30th of January till 6th of February. The Youth Assembly retains the format of general assemblies. The main goal of the Youth Assembly is to help shape tomorrow's leaders today.
Youth assembly is an annual event and representatives from more than 100 countries participate in it. This year it was the eleventh assembly. The delegation from Georgia participated for the first time in that event. It means, that the students had a huge responsibility to be the first representatives of their country.
On 4th, 5th and 6th of March 23 students from MYP section will participate in the world's largest online literacy, mathematics and science competitions. Students with the best results will be awarded.

12 students from grade10 MYP participated in the Canadian Intermediate Mathematics Contest for schools across Canada and around the world.
Hanieh Moein, Alexander Secara and Nino Sichinava with their results were ranked in the top 25% of all contestants. Alexander secara and Nino Sichinava received the Certificates of Distinction. Hanieh Moein has been awarded with the medal for obtaining the highest mark.
